VIBES & VIRTUES / EXPERIENCES WITH PURPOSE

Bring people in.
See what
comes out.

Conversation, games, and participatory art that give people a reason to connect—and organizations a way to listen.

For conferences, communities, workplaces, and places people gather.

THE ROOM IS ONLY THE BEGINNING

A memorable experience.
A meaningful exchange.
Something to carry forward.

You’ve brought people together. Now give them a way to move beyond introductions, contribute to a shared story, or help you understand something that matters.

Start with your purpose. We shape the questions, artwork, and participation around it. Add documentation and an insight webpage when you want to revisit what people shared.

Founded by artist Carey Fountain. Brought to life with our team.

01 / START WITH THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO CREATE

What does your
gathering need?

Six ways in. Each can stand alone or become part of a larger experience.

A conference might begin with team-led Wildcard Live, continue with an organizer-run Exchange Board, and finish with a private insight webpage. We build the combination around your schedule.

02 / FEEL HOW PARTICIPATION CHANGES THE PICTURE

A question starts it.
You move it forward.

Try a small demonstration.
No responses are collected here.

One exchange. One part of the picture.

Ask someone a question, record their response with permission, and place the card in its numbered position. Each card directly reveals part of the image.

03 / KEEP LISTENING AFTER THE ROOM EMPTIES

The conversation
can become an asset.

Participant perspectives you can return to,
explore, and bring into your next decision.

For the conference experience, a customized insight webpage brings the questions and contributions together after the event. For smaller gatherings, a short snapshot may be enough.

  • Browse responses by question or session.
  • Explore recurring themes alongside the original words.
  • Use the material for a debrief or future programming.

Collect → Digitize & review → Organize → Explore

Handwritten cards do not appear online automatically. Collection, processing, privacy, and delivery are planned with you. Participant feedback describes contributors’ perspectives; it is not a representative survey.

04 / THE RIGHT COMPONENTS, NOT EVERY COMPONENT

Make it yours.

Your audience and purpose lead. The tools follow.

Your questions.

Shape the subject, tone, and depth together—from a playful introduction to a focused question about community priorities.

Your setting.

A lunch break, reception, dedicated session, hotel lobby, or recurring series. Plan the layout and participation for the space.

Your level of support.

Facilitation by our team, an organizer-run board with a guide, or a hybrid. Materials, staffing, travel, and deliverables are scoped together.

Card games: connection at the table

Legacy, After Dark, and Family Ties combine conversation with strategy. Choose the edition for your audience, use several tables at a gathering, or provide take-home games. Bulk orders start at 10 games at $16 each; facilitated delivery is separate.

VibeLink: keep participation going between events

A QR-powered layer for lobbies, cafés, bars, and lounges, with customized prompts, challenges, and approved rewards. The configuration is designed around the venue.

Vibe Tokens & Passport: an optional reward layer

Connect participation with agreed partner perks, merchandise, or other benefits. Vibe Passport can connect participation and discovery across the ecosystem. Available integrations, partner benefits, and redemption costs are confirmed in your proposal.

Custom art, branding & continuing stories

Use existing Wildcard artwork, an approved image, or commission something for your place. Cards, instructions, and the webpage can carry your branding. A residency can add changing questions and cumulative learning across gatherings.

LET’S START WITH YOUR PURPOSE

Bring the idea.
We’ll find the format.

You don’t need a finished event plan. A group, a question, or something you want to understand is enough to start.

01 Share the purpose and people.

02 Discuss format, timing, and budget.

03 Agree on the experience and deliverables.

BEFORE YOU JOIN US

A little clarity before we begin.

Can I come on my own?

You can come with curiosity, whether you arrive alone or with friends. Check your chosen event’s Luma listing for its format and who it’s designed for.

Do I have to speak or share something personal?

You choose what you share. Listening is a way to participate, and you can pass on a question.

Where do I find ticket prices, age limits, and accessibility details?

Use the individual Luma event listing for current details. If an accessibility requirement isn’t covered, contact the organizer through that listing before registering.

Can you work with our theme and budget?

Bring your purpose, audience, and available budget to the conversation. The format, materials, facilitation, and documentation can be scoped together.

Does an exchange board include a digital report?

Not automatically. If you want a digital view of the responses, we first agree how they will be recorded, who will enter them, what permissions are needed, and what you will receive.

What can participant responses tell us?

They can help you explore perspectives and patterns among the people who contribute. They shouldn’t be presented as representative of an entire community or as proof of long-term impact.

Do we need to commission new artwork?

No. Wildcard Live can connect your event’s questions with the themes in Carey’s existing artwork. A new, site-specific artwork is a separate commission. Ownership of a board or artwork is agreed in the proposal.

How much does an experience cost?

We build a proposal around preparation, group size, materials, facilitation, travel, and what you want to receive afterward. Share a working budget and we can explore an appropriate scope. You do not need every component.

Will our responses be public or appear live?

A client insight webpage and the public Cultural Archive are separate. Access, consent, hosting, and retention are agreed in advance. Handwritten responses require digitization and review; live updates need their own collection and staffing plan.

LET’S CREATE A REASON TO PARTICIPATE

Your people.
Your purpose.
A different way to come together.

We’ll look at examples, discuss your group, and find a scope that makes sense.
