TWO WAYS TO BRING IT TO YOUR SCHOOL

Choose the support
your team needs.

One school goal. Two levels of support. Both leave educators with materials they can use again.

CAREY-LED · TWO SCHOOL VISITS

Wildcard Lab

Carey leads a large-group Wildcard activation. Student responses become a private insights site, a faculty review, an Exchange Board, and a student-created art session.

  • Two 90-minute artist-led school visits
  • A custom school insights site and faculty data review
  • A reusable Exchange Board with cards to reprint and rotate
  • Wildcard has engaged groups of 100+ students

How this supports classroom goals

Built for the work schools already plan

Instructional fitStart with your unit, grade level, and target skill. A custom kit or Lab includes a short alignment note for the learning target your school supplies.

ParticipationSmall-group turns and guided questions give students practice listening, explaining, and considering another perspective.

Next-step evidenceA private school site links anonymous responses to prompts and themes so faculty can see what students explain, question, and need to revisit.

Examples of aligned goals include collaborative discussion, social studies inquiry, and relationship skills. Your school selects the actual grade-level standard and approval process; the activity supplements its required instruction and assessment.
Planning, approval & funding details
EASY TO BRING TO YOUR SCHOOL

Clear scope. Simple approval.

Choose a teacher-led kit or a Carey-led Lab. For school review, we can provide a one-page summary of the learning goal, student activities, schedule, deliverables, and an itemized quote. Carey drafts custom prompts for teacher feedback and approval.

Potential funding paths

Your team can review instructional materials, arts integration, or enrichment budgets. Depending on the school plan, Title IV-A or Title I may also be relevant. Existing after-school and summer programs may consider 21st CCLC funding.

Alabama schools: an arts grant worth checking

Alabama's FY2027 Live Arts Learning grants accept rolling requests of $500–$5,000 for shorter artist-led school experiences, with no required match. Activities must be scheduled at least six weeks after application. The artist-led Lab may fit if the school and project meet the program rules. Read the current guidelines.

Your school or district approves the funding source and determines eligibility.

01 / YOUR CURRICULUM, OUR PROMPTS

One format.
Many subjects.

Your school supplies the unit or priority skill. For a custom kit or Wildcard Lab, Carey drafts age-appropriate prompts and a short learning-target map. The teacher can edit the prompts and gives final approval before materials are made.

TRY A SCHOOL FOCUS

Carey drafts custom prompts. Your teacher has the final say.

An experience that keeps teaching.

The first visit generates the evidence. A faculty review shapes the board and final creative session. Explore each stage.

Play, respond, reveal.

Carey leads puzzle art and adapted Vibes & Virtues play around an approved learning goal. Students answer prompts, ask questions, and reveal the artwork. Their responses form the evidence for what happens next.

02 / BETWEEN VISITSCAREY'S ANALYSIS

See the evidence.

Carey organizes responses by prompt, identifies recurring and contrasting ideas, and connects each theme to anonymous source responses. He builds a custom, school-accessible site with charts, questions, and detail faculty can explore.

03 / BETWEEN VISITSFACULTY REVIEW

Decide what to revisit.

Carey meets with faculty to interpret the findings and agree on follow-up prompts. The reusable Exchange Board can live in a shared space or rotate among classrooms. Your school gets a printable PDF of approved cards, a blank template, and a refresh guide for use throughout the year.

04 / FINAL VISIT90 MINUTES

Turn insight into art.

Carey facilitates students as they create original work in an agreed form, such as visual art, music, or poetry, inspired by the themes they explored. If funding permits, a student-designed mural led and facilitated by Carey can be commissioned separately.

03 / THE SCHOOL DATA SITE

See the pattern. Open the evidence.

After visit one, Carey compiles responses and questions by prompt, reviews recurring and contrasting themes, and links each theme to anonymous student words. Your school receives a custom site with visual summaries and detail faculty can explore.

  1. Capture responses and questions
  2. Group themes by prompt
  3. Check the original words behind each pattern

Carey then meets with faculty to interpret the findings and choose the Exchange Board prompts and final creative direction together.

Counts describe recorded responses, not unique students or mastery scores. School responses stay in the school-accessible site, not the public Wildcard Cultural Archive. Access and sharing follow the school's approved permissions.
